To All The Members of Class 1979

It is always a pleasure to convey to you my warmest congratulations and wishes for the best on this day. It is one of the happiest and significant day of your journey, the journey of coming together after 25 blessed years. Together with your parents and your family, I share the jubilations of your success.

I am sure and confident that your Assumption Education, encompassing its mission and vision, has made each one to successfully pass all the hardships and challenges of life. With your sheer determination, hard-work and sacrifices, I am convinced that these made you rise to prominence and become assets to your family, community, and to our country.

Looking back at you on those fruitful years of my life, my heart can only recall beautiful moments and not a single day of regret.

Thanks and praise be to God you did become part of me. Dacal a Salamat!

I remember, you were the most daring batch. You’re the first boy-students who joined the foods department. The girls, naman joined the electronics department. Unfortunately, the girls were not accepted by Mother William. I hope until now you are still daring!

I wish you knew more about Marie Eugenie. I wish you still seek to know more about her and her mission in the Assumption education, her mission in Assumpta.

Please come back. You are always welcome to come back. Tell us more about what happened to you after 1979.

Continue being daring. Continue the mission of Assumpta. Continue your commitment to educate people. Continue the mission of Marie Eugenie. Nandito lang kami!

My warmest greetings to ATHS batch 1979!

Your High School life is surely an experience to remember as long as I live. It is something to look back to as you face the future in the these uncertain times. But no matter how the future may look, certainly you have made a giant step in your quest for your destiny.

May the years you spent in ATHS give you the strength and perseverance to aim higher that what you have achieved so far.

I pray that this moment of joy and fulfillment—may continue to inspire you to become what God wants all people to be men and women for others.

It is my hope that somehow I have touched your lives in the most meaningful way.

Thanks for the GREAT MEMORIES we’ve shared. . . Good luck and God speed. . .

Congratulations for this great jubilee! The school community is very happy in making us active participants in celebrating your jubilee.

We are also very happy because you still show the same strength of camaraderie, the friendship and willingness to help Assumpta. We are very much aware about the joys you share with one another. We also know that you are meeting almost every week to prepare for this Jubilee.

I wish you continue to discover the heart of an Assumptan. A heart that is born a leader. A heart that loves. A heart that shares without expecting anything in return.

Kekayu ngan dacal a salamat!

Perfect Mother

Where else will you find a perfect mother? Just inside the four corners of our house lives a woman whose heart is that of a perfect mother. Allow me first to describe her:

Behind her sophisticated and snobbish looks, lies an astounding character which made people love her so much. She is very easy to get-along with. She is surprisingly a person who is fun-to-be with. There is no dull moment whenever you are with her company.

She is definitely a great dancer. She has the guts to open-up a dance floor.

As a mother, she’s totally the best! - everything that a child could asks of a mother’s attitude is within her spirit. Not only is she a mother, she is also a responsible wife. She has been serving God’s community for several years now.

There is no one in the world who can ever replace the things she has done for us. If there’s one person who I admire most, it is my mother. We are grateful for having her.

By the way, the perfect mother whom I am talking about is REMEDIOS SACLAO-GRAFIL, my MOTHER.
